HALOGEN for NORDSTROM

For my final collection for the Halogen brand for Nordstrom I designed a Spring/Summer 2019 collection for a moderate budget. I focused mainly on creating original and unique silhouettes while keeping the overall look classy and chic ( as what Halogen is all about). I was inspired mainly by nature specifically wheat fields which is why I included some natural fabrics (linen and cotton). I also inspired myself with draping different fabric weights onto each other to see how the fabric flows on the body. I used many bright colors make the garments pop out more and also designed a simple floral pattern to again go back to my nature/spring inspiration. Using the Design Development 2019/20 future inspiration on WGSN, I experimented mainly on the apron look which can be seen on the straps of my first dress as well as the layering of the fabrics and creating opposite horizontal hems to give the dress a unique and interesting look and finish.
