LITTLE BLACK DRESS ESSENTIAL

As designer Karl Lagerfeld once said, "One is never over- dressed in a little black dress." I designed this black silk dress with the inspiration of a slip dress. Slip dresses have become very fashionable lately and I was inspired to create this sexy and flirtatious dress to be the perfect mixture of a night out dress as well as something that could also be worn as a day look when styled differently.

I added a separate panel on top of this dress that crosses over the chest and connects to the waist with a golden clasp. This permits the dress to be worn and styled different way. For a night out and clean finished look the panel can be clasped on to reveal the detailed golden hook, but if you're looking to wear it down as a day look the loose fabric makes the garment look more casual and relaxed.
