We have to reduce the amount of clothing we buy and throw away, Its time to take action today! Its important for everyone to know how much clothing ends up in landfills EACH YEAR. Did you know that it takes up to 40 YEARS for clothing to decompose? How about that the average American throws about 82 pounds of textile waste per year. Hey, were all guilty of it right? But its important for us to change the way we buy and treat our clothing because we cant go on like this.

This cropped jacket is made of 100% reused and recycled material. Made from a wool men's jacket for the sleeves and the body made of upholstery fabric.
Its time to bring sustainability clothing back!
Not all sustainable clothing is patchwork and quilted clothing. Some of the top designers today are taking action to reduce the waste of fabric by creating zero waste, recycled, and natural fiber garments, so what can you do?
First, know what your clothing is made from. Natural fibers are the best and will make your clothing last longer (trust me its worth the extra money)
Second, don't throw away your clothing unless you really need to; sow up that hole it the sleeve or even donate it if you really don't like it, someone else is sure to love it
